Kevin Federline And Britney Spears’ Lawyer Come To Her Defense After Report Claims She’s On Meth

The Daily Mail posted a story this past weekend via journalist Daphne Barak. The journalist reportedly spent nearly two weeks with Kevin Federline and Britney Spears’ two children earlier this year.

Apparently, Kevin trusted Barak to give an honest look into their life, but now he’s questioning if he made the right decision.

In a report published by The Daily Mail, Barak claimed that Britney’s family (including her sons) were worried about her dying because they believed she was using crystal meth, which honestly would explain some of the bizarre videos she shares on her Instagram.

But according to Federline, Barak’s report was full of lies.

It saddens our family that Daphne Barak and [her producer] Erbil Gunasti have decided to fabricate lies and publish the heart ache [sic] our family has endured, along with the trauma of our minor children in the Daily Mail and The Sun. We did allow Daphne & Bill into our home because we trusted them, but that trust was lost and we severed ties back in March for many reasons we choose not to go into here.

Additionally, Brit’s lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, has reportedly sent a legal letter to the Daily Mail, demanding they take their report down.

The Daily Mail, through Daphne Barak, posted a story yesterday containing numerous false and defamatory fabrications concerning my client Britney Spears that are attributed to Kevin Federline and his children, in particular regarding ‘crystal meth’. I have separately learnt that on several occasions, Ms. Barak sought to contact Britney under false pretenses, again using her minor children, which is exploitative, harassing, and outrageous.

It’s clear he’s ready to take legal action against Barak and the Daily Mail, especially if they refuse to take the report down.

It’s worth noting that Page Six contacted Barak, and she responded with this…

There are 12 days filming with Federline, his wife, his family and others. All – By his request. Only a small percentage of the footage has been released and made headlines.

We’ll see where this goes.
