Taylor Swift Opens Up About Travis Kelce Romance, Says They Started Dating Before Public Knew

A few months ago, Taylor Swift showed up to one of Travis Kelce’s games in Kansas City and the internet broke. Many people thought this was their first time meeting, but now we are learning that the two stars had been secretly seeing each other since July.

The 33-year-old Grammy winner was honored as Time’s Person of the Year this week, and during her interview with the magazine, she talked about her relationship with the NFL star for the first time.

I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date. When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care. The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.

She praised Kelce for “adorably” putting her on blast after he failed to give her his number during one of her concerts back in early July. He called her out on his podcast, and she thought it was “metal as hell,” so she hit him up.

We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.
