Tom Selleck Is At Risk Of Losing His Massive Ranch In California After ‘Blue Bloods’ Gets Canceled
At 79-years-old, Tom Selleck claims he still can’t afford to retire, at least not if he wants to keep his 63-acre ranch in California. The famous actor talked with CBS Sunday Morning and showed the camera crew around his beautiful ranch.
And during the conversation, he admitted that he might not be able to keep it after his show ‘Blue Bloods‘ was canceled after 14 seasons.
Tom says hopefully he can keep working enough to where he can hold onto the place, and when she asks if he’s serious — he tells her, you’re GD right! TS keeps it 100 and tells her the reality of a consistent paycheck is always an issue, period.
He says that while he’s set for life, he’s not “set for life” on the ranch. Apparently, it’s costing him lots of pretty pennies to maintain. The internet claims he has a net worth of around $45 million, which you’d think would be enough to maintain a ranch, but apparently he has other bills and homes as well.
Selleck had starred on the hit CBS show, Blue Bloods, since it first started airing back in 2010. He’s appeared in every season. It’s not clear how much he was bringing in every year, but apparently, he needs more!
The dude is a legend in Hollywood, so we’re willing to bet another series will take him on. After all, he made it very clear that he still wants to work. He likes waking up with a purpose, even as he pushes 80-years-old.
Here’s to hoping he can keep his ranch! If not, we’re sure there are plenty of other ranches out there that don’t have 63 acres to maintain. Maybe a 10-acre ranch will do?
