Kelly Clarkson Admits She’s Been Taking Ozempic-Like Drug To Help Her Lose More Than 60 Pounds!
Kelly Clarkson has been looking like a brand new person on her talk show in recent months. The 42-year-old singer/host has reportedly lost over 60 pounds in the past year.
And while many people have been accusing her of using Ozempic, she previously said she’s simply been listening to her doctor.
I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor — a couple of years I didn’t. And 90% of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat — sorry, vegetarians in the world!
But during a recent interview with Whoopie Goldberg, Clarkson admitted her miracle weight loss drug was not meat after all. She finally admitted to using a weight loss drug, but insisted it was not Ozempic.
She also said her doctor ordered it for her because she had prediabetes and couldn’t seem to regulate her blood sugar.
Mine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having to do that, too, because my blood work got so bad. My doctor chased me for two years, and I was like, ‘No, I’m afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems. Everybody thinks it’s Ozempic — it’s not — it’s something else, but it’s something that aids in helping break down the sugar. Obviously, my body doesn’t do it right.
Clarkson revealed her heaviest weight was around 203 pounds, which is a decent amount of weight for someone who only stands at 5’3.
Meanwhile, Whoopi has been open about her use of Ozempic. She’s lost over 40 pounds in recent months and has never felt better. In total, she claims she’s lost the weight of two people.
