‘When Calls The Heart’ Actress Is On Life Support After Falling From Five-Story Balcony
This is news you might want to share with your grandma, because chances are, she watches When Calls the Heart. The super popular Hallmark show features an ensemble cast, and one of the cast members is currently fighting for her life.
19-year-old actress, Mamie Laverock, who starred in multiple seasons of the show is currently on life support after falling from a five-story balcony.
According to a GoFundMe page created by her family, the Canadian actress was in the hospital for “intensive treatment” for two weeks following a medical incident. The family did not really say what the medical incident was, but reading between the lines, we suspect it may have been some sort of suicide attempt. Although, we can’t confirm that.
Upon release from the hospital, she was escorted “out of a secure unit” and taken up to a balcony walkway, where she reportedly fell five stories.
She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries and is currently on life support. We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.
So far, the GoFundMe has raised nearly all of its $30,000 goal, thanks in large part to her co-stars sharing the news. The star of the show, Erin Krakow, posted the GoFundMe on her Instagram, writing, “I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too.”
