Sharon Stone Claims She Lost Nearly $20 Million After Her Stroke In 2001
Some of you might not remember, but back in 2001, Sharon Stone suffered a pretty massive stroke. She had a nine-day brain bleed.
It took her years to recovery from it, and during her recovery, she claims multiple people took advantage of her, causing her to lose nearly $20 million in the seven years after the stroke.
I had $18 million saved because of all my success, but when I got back into my bank account, it was all gone. My refrigerator, my phone — everything was in other people’s names.
Her refrigerator? I didn’t even know you needed to have a name for that. I thought you just buy one and it becomes yours.
She says she had zero money during this time, but in reality, she probably still had a roof over her head and assets, so we highly doubt she was weeks away from living on the street.
Stone also says that after the stroke, a Buddhist monk told her she had been reincarnated into the same body…
I had a death experience and then they brought me back. I bled into my brain for nine days, so my brain was shoved to the front of my face. It wasn’t positioned in my head where it was before. And while that was happening, everything changed. My sense of smell, my sight, my touch. I couldn’t read for a couple of years.
You’ll be happy to know she’s healthy now and living her best life. Her net worth stands at around $30 million right now, so she doesn’t have to worry about anyone claiming her fridge.
