Watch Brooke Burke’s Personal Message to Fans About Her Condition

Brooke Burke released a video today to set the record straight.  Rumors were leaked back in the summer when she discovered a nodule on her neck.  After the release of that news we heard nothing about her or the nodule…until today.

She decided to create a video on her terms so her fans know the information is coming from her.  It’s better than someone interviewing her and asking her a bunch of dumb obvious questions.

Brooke looks like she filmed it in her bedroom and she is talking candidly trough the 3 minute clip.  She basically says she received her test results back and they were atypical, meaning that something screwy.  As she continues through the video she tells fans that she has to have her thyroid removed an operation which would leave a scar across her entire throat.

“Long story long. I got my results back and they were not good,   I need to have thyroid surgery, which means that I am going to have a nice big scar, right here, across my neck.”

She doesn’t actually say she has cancer until about 2 minutes and 37 seconds into the video.  She says that it’s the Good Cancer.  As in the least likely to be fatal.

The XX year old Dancing with the Stars judge says that she feels great which is odd that she can be so sick.
