Justin Bieber Releases New Single ‘Cold Water’ Co-Written By Ed Sheeran, Listen To The Track Inside!

The last time Ed Sheeran teamed up with Justin Bieber to write a song, they created one of the best tracks of the year with Love Yourself. Even seven months after its release, I still listen to the song at least once a week. It’s a ridiculously catchy tune.

And now they’re teaming up again with Justin Bieber’s new single with Major Lazer titled Cold Water. It’s not clear how much of the song was written by Sheeran, but he is listed as a co-writer, and there are some Sheeran-like lines sprinkled throughout the song.

I’m not going to sit here and tell you that this song is on the same level as Love Yourself. It’s not, but it’s not a bad song either. It’s just average. The beats are average, lyrics are average, Bieber’s voice has and will always be average.

That being said, Beliebers will love it and it’ll probably become a huge hit just like every other Bieber song. The 22-year-old singer just completed the North American leg of his Purpose Tour earlier this week at Madison Square Garden. He’ll be getting a brief break before traveling to Asia in August and then Europe in September through late November.

Hopefully he continues writing music with Ed Sheeran. They’re good together, which is something I never thought I’d say.
