Tom Holland And Zendaya Talk About How Height Difference Made ‘Spider-Man’ Stunts Difficult
If you haven’t heard, Zendaya and Tom Holland are dating. The cute couple, who started off as just co-stars on ‘Spider-Man‘, have found love.
Who knows if the young couple will last, but for right now, they’re the hottest couple in Hollywood. Everyone wants a photo of them, and multiple photographers got their opportunity this past weekend at a ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ event in London.
And as you can see from the photo below, Zendaya is a little taller than Holland…
Zendaya stands at around 5’10, and Holland is reportedly around 5’8, so she’s about two inches taller than him.
And while the height difference is not a problem in their relationship, it does create issues while filming.
The two stars appeared on a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, and they talked about how a certain stunt was difficult to land because Zendaya has longer legs than Holland.
There’s a particular stunt where Spider-Man swings us on top of a bridge and he places me there. Because of our height difference… we were attached, so I would land before him. My feet obviously hit the ground before he does.
So obviously he couldn’t “gently” place her down on the bridge if she was landing on said bridge before him.
Holland chimed in…
I’m the superhero. I’m supposed to look cool! She would land, and then I would sort of land like this, and then my feet would swing from underneath me, and she would catch me.
They then demonstrated how their awkward landing looked, and well, it was pretty dang adorable.
