Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Are Pitching A New Show To ‘Ellen’ Producers
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes aren’t going to let unemployment get them down. The former ‘GMA3‘ co-hosts, who were fired after having an affair, are reportedly trying to pitch a new show together to anyone who will listen.
According to a report from PageSix, they are “aggressively pitching” a show of their own to the producers behind The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
It’s easier for them to pitch a show if they stay in the news, and they think they’re rock stars. They’re selling their chemistry. They absolutely believe that their chemistry would sell, because it sold at ABC.
The source claims they firmly believe their chemistry is what made everyone love them at GMA3, and they’re hoping it lands them a brand new show.
Of course, people may not enjoy their chemistry as much, now that they know they cheated on their respective spouses to obtain it. As the source pointed out, they were selling supposed brother/sister energy, now they’re selling something entirely different.
In the meantime, Robach and Holmes are gearing up for a ‘symbolic run’ at Sunday’s United Airlines half marathon in New York City. We’re told they will be a part of the first wave of runners, starting the race at 7a.m.
Geez. They are really leaning into the whole affair thing. You’ll remember, rumors of their relationship first started after they trained together for the half marathon last year.
You can’t help but wonder how their families feel about this? Some insiders believe they are doing this because they’re desperate and need money, even though they got a fairly significant buyout from ABC.
We’ll see how this plays out, but ngl, I’d watch their show, at least for the first week.
