Britney Spears’ Mom, Lynne, Is Reportedly Working As A Substitute Teacher To Keep Roof Over Her Head
What happens when you can no longer control your multimillionaire daughter’s bank account? Well, you have to become a substitute teacher, apparently.
According to a new report from The Daily Mail, Britney Spears’ mom, Lynne Spears, is reportedly having to work as a substitute teacher in Louisiana just to make ends meet. The job is reportedly “part-time” at the moment, but very much needed, the source adds.
The source then alleged that the Spears matriarch found herself with money woes after her ‘complicated relationship’ with Britney, 42, ‘seriously impacted’ her finances.
You’ll remember Lynne was living the high life for several years when Britney was locked inside an intrusive conservatorship. During this time, Lynne was residing in a fancy home in Louisiana, which was owned and paid for by Britney. She also had all her bills paid during this time.
And get this, after Britney won her conservatorship battle in court, Lynne asked her daughter to pay her legal fees, demanding over $600,000.
Six months later, Lynne withdrew her request after getting blasted by Britney’s attorneys. After the drama, Britney and her mom briefly reconnected and most of the blame was placed on Britney’s father.
But in recent months, Britney had another falling out with her mother and her sister, Jamie Lynn.
Her meeting with her mom went OK, but there’s still a lot of hurt there, so they haven’t quite reconciled. Britney is still very angry with [her sister] Jamie Lynn [Spears], too.
Looks like Lynne will have to continue living a modest life for the foreseeable future.
