Amanda Bynes About to Sign Record Deal?

Remember a few weeks back when we told you about Amanda Bynes’ dream to become a rapper?  We all figured that was a joke, right? No one actually took her seriously, right? Wrong! Some small hip-hop label has actually offered the troubled star a record deal. A producer by the name of Daniel Herman offered her a legit record deal, even sending the offer to her attorney.

“She’s phenomenal and that’s the crazy thing about this. This is the perfect home. This isn’t just a gimmick.” Heman said. We all know that is bullsh-t, Herman! It’s nothing but a gimmick, and you know what? There is nothing wrong with that. He wants to make some quick cash by riding on the crazy train and I can’t blame him, but don’t try and pass this off as some legit thing.

Anyway, Herman has not actually signed Bynes but he is “beyond confident” that he will land the 27-year-old. “Right now you have a Nickelodeon pop star masquerading as a gangster rapper. I see someone like Amanda Bynes and I know she has talent.” he said. Oh, and he also claims that Amanda is more “gangster” than Drake.

I can’t say that I disagree with him on that. After all, I can’t take Drake’s music career seriously because every time I see his face I just picture him as that little wheelchair-stricken boy from Degrassi.
