One Direction Will Be Going In Different Directions, Band Confirms They Are Taking Extended Hiatus!

harr

It looks like Zayn Malik had the right idea when he left One Direction back in March. If you remember, fans were crying in YouTube videos and threatening to harm themselves on Twitter. 13-year-old girls around the world were acting as if someone just killed their mother with a spork.

For some reason, people believed One Direction would be together for the rest of their music careers, but we all know boy bands never last. Why? Because there are always two people in the group who are more popular and successful than the other members. For One Direction, those two members seemed to be Harry Styles and Zayn Malik.

And after Zayn left, Harry was stuck with those three other dudes, Noel Whoran, Leeham Pain, and Lohee Tomlindaughter.

Harry knew he had to get out, so that’s exactly what he did. Multiple websites have confirmed that One Direction will be taking an extended hiatus beginning in March. Sources told E! News the following…

They are taking a hiatus so they can work on individual projects for a while but they are not splitting up. They will remain together and plan to work together in the future. They are great friends and fully support one another. This is an exciting time for them creatively and as a group.

We all know once Harry’s solo career takes off, that will be the end of One Direction. They’re just trying to keep the door open just in case things don’t work out.

They timed this announcement perfectly. As most of you know, they just released their Drag Me Down music video. It’s the whole, “Hit them with the good news first” game plan. Well played, One Direction.

Harry Styles is now driving down the Justin Timberlake Expressway.
