You probably don’t know her name, but there is a chance you have seen her dance on stage with a few of your favorite artists. Shirlene Quigley has been a backup dancer for Beyonce, Chris Brown, Missy Elliott and most recently Rihanna.

As NBC New York reports, the 32-year-old dancer was last seen getting on a bus at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York at around one in the morning on Sunday. She hasn’t been seen since, and her father told authorities that he became concerned when she didn’t call him later in the evening.

Rihanna went on her Instagram account to spread the news and hopefully find some answers. She posted a video of Quigley calling for everyone to treat each other like family.

She captioned the post:

“This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!! My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her! If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequigley’s whereabouts ….. PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100!!!!”

Quigley lives in New Jersey and teaches dance at Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan. Her father told NBC, “I just want her to come home, or if someone has her to let her be. She’s everything to me. She’s why I live.”

Missy Elliott also jumped on her Instagram account to spread the news. She told her followers that Quigley is an “amazing SWEET CARING SPIRIT who is LOVED by MANY!”

She also encouraged her fans to spread this information to their own accounts. That’s the good news here. A lot of people are now looking for this girl, so hopefully she is found soon. Maybe this is all some huge mistake.

Although, it does look like something suspicious might have happened. Her cell phone was found in a bridal store in a neighborhood in Manhattan and her car was left at a car rental agency.

We’ll keep you posted as more information is released. Our thoughts are with her friends and family. We’re all hoping for a safe return.
