Wendy Williams Interviews Mona Scott Love

Rare Interview: Love and Hip Hop Creator Mona Scott Young gets grilled on Wendy. Address LHH Social Media Backlash and Yandy and Mendecee’s FAKE Wedding! (FULL INTERVIEW)

It’s been a long time since we have seen Mona Scott Young.  Probably since the last time she was doing the reunion shows.  Once Nina Parker took over, Mona dipped out and stayed out of the spotlight.   As someone who earns their living from reality TV (and a very good living she is worth $30 million) she keeps a pretty low profile.

MONA AND WENDY HAVE HISTORY SO WENDY KEEPS IT REAL

In pure Wendy fashion, Wendy didn’t hold back any questions that she thought the people wanted to know.  She went straight at Mona in regards to the recent social media backlash regarding Mendeecee and Yandy’s fake wedding.  Mona was forthcoming but did no submit to full disclosure because she basically wants us to tune in to the show.

MONA AND YANDY ARE ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD FRIENDS

During the interview, Mona explains that Yandy (who is worth $15 million) used to intern for Mona when she worked at Violater records.  This means that basically she and Yandy have a 15 year relationship.  However, Mona admitted to Wendy that she was just as surprised as we were that the marriage wasn’t real.  Mona not only paid for the entire wedding, she paid them for the televised rights to the entire event.

SIDE TEA: YANDY EXPLAINED WHY SHE DIDN’T SIGN THE LICENSE

Yandy and Mendeecees are said to have purposefully left a signature off of their marriage license so that it wouldn’t be processed.  In some states, if a spouse is incarcerated or unable to generate income, child support can be collected from the other spouse.  This would basically give Mendeecee’s other baby’s mothers access to Yandy’s $15 million dollars.

Now can you see why Yandy didn’t sign that marriage license?
