Founder Of WorldStarHipHop Dies In His Sleep At 43, Several Celebrities Remember Him On Twitter

Some extremely sad news to report today. Lee O’Denat (known as Q), the founder of WorldStarHipHop, died in his sleep Monday night. He was just 43-years-old. An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, but right now the suspected cause of death is a heart attack.

Q launched WorldStarHipHop back in 2005, and at the time it provided upcoming artists with a space to show off their talent through videos and mixtapes. Now the site is best known for its fight clips/outrageous viral content. You all have probably heard someone yell, “WORLDSTAR” before.

We wouldn’t have that great battle cry without Q. Several hip-hop stars went on their social media accounts to pay tribute to Q.

Our thoughts go out to his friends and family. Gone too soon, but he changed the hip-hop world forever.
