Dwayne Johnson Surprises His Mother With Another New House, Complete With His Own Memorabilia

Back in 2018, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson bought his mother a new home for Christmas. He surprised her with it by handing her a Christmas card with a special message inside.
Now, four years later, Johnson is buying his mother, Ata Johnson, another brand-new house. We’re not sure if there was something wrong with her old home, or if Johnson simply needed more content for his Instagram, but either way, Momma Ata has a brand new place to call home.
He and his design team spent eight weeks getting this home perfect for her. He shared multiple clips of her walking through the place.
Love you mom and surprise! When I was a little boy, I hated when my mom would cry ~ these days, I’ll happily take her tears of joy. I surprised my mom and bought her a new home. Took me and my design team 8 weeks to get it ready, where she could walk thru her front door for the very first time and everything she saw was brand new and a total surprise.
According to the wrestler/actor, his mother told him she wanted a final home. She doesn’t want to move anymore, so The Rock decided to build her dream home.
The family room contains a wall display of Ata’s collection of vintage ukuleles, as well as pictures of the family’s ancestors. There’s also a room in the house called the “Smackdown Room” where she keeps the coolest Rock/DJ memorabilia. Johnson admitted that it’s her favorite room to show guests, but it’s his least favorite.
This is her favorite room to bring guests to and it’s my least favorite because the last thing I want to do is stand in a DJ Shrine while people look around as my mom takes them thru at all the stuff I’ve done No thanks.
Johnson is worth well over $300 million, so yeah, we’re sure this house didn’t set him back at all. If I had $300 million, I’d probably buy my mom a couple houses too.
