Did Megan Thee Stallion And Justin Timberlake Really Have Beef Backstage At The VMAs?
The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards went down last night in New Jersey and of course there was some drama. There’s always at least a little drama at the VMAs, and it was Justin Timberlake and Megan Thee Stallion at the center of the drama last night.
A video from backstage hit the internet during the event, appearing to show Megan and Justin in a somewhat heated exchange. Megan was seen dramatically waving her hands at Justin. She also had a look of irritation on her face. It was as if she didn’t want Justin coming near her.

Looks a little tense, right? As you can see from even the caption of the tweet, people were speculating hard. What could have happened? Well, turns out… nothing!
Apparently, it was the first time they had met, and Megan wanted more control of the situation. She wanted to actually sit down and talk with him, and in that moment, she was not prepared, so she was simply saying, “No, no, no, we’ve never met before. Not like this,” which is a very Megan Thee Stallion thing to say.
Following the event, Megan and Justin found each other at the VMA afterparty at TAO Downtown in the Skybox private dining room. Sources say they partied together until two in the morning.
