Michael Buble Claims He Was On ‘Shrooms During Press Conference For NHL All-Star Weekend

The NHL has been trying to get more viewers to tune in for their all-star weekend festivities, so they invited lots of celebrities out to celebrate, including Will Arnett and Michel Buble.

Buble is acting as a celebrity captain for the all-star game, and after picking his players in the draft, he was interviewed by the media with Arnett.

And during the round of questioning, Buble randomly blurted out that he was high on ‘shrooms…

My buddy told me, this is just a microdose of mushrooms and he was LYING. So, I’ll be honest, I thought I was in ‘Blades of Glory’ for most of the time that I was out there, until it sort of settled down and then I realized, ‘Holy s***, I am in the NHL All-Star Game.

Everyone seemed a little surprised by his admission, even Arnett, who tried to change the subject. But then Buble brought it back by saying he probably lost out on some sponsors by talking about his supposed “drug” use.

Hours later at dinner, Buble backtracked on his statement and claimed he was only joking…

It was a joke. Of course I wasn’t [on mushrooms]! I’m sitting here at dinner. I do have a problem with bread. When I get anxious, I can’t stop eating it. But no, not mushrooms.

I don’t know, man. I think he was on some sh*t. You can’t walk it back now! OWN IT!
